Art Abrams Swing Machine Big Band at Washington Park – 8/9

The Art Abrams Swing Machine Big Band has been a staple of Portland’s jazz scene for years. With three CDs to their name, a roster of Portland’s top players in both their current ranks and their alumni, and a book of swinging standards and originals, the Swing Machine is a group that every Portland jazz fan should see.
This coming Sunday (8/9), the band will be performing at the Washington Park Summer Festival – a series of free evening concerts in August. The music kicks off at 6 PM.
