Classical Jazz Quartet almost gone!

The final 30 tickets to the Portland Jazz Festival’s performance of Classical Jazz Quartet on Saturday, February 16, 7:30 PM, Newmark Theatre, have just been released for sale. Classical Jazz Quartet, featuring Kenny Barron, Ron Carter, Stefon Harris & Lewis Nash, is the first performance to sell out at the 2008 Portland Jazz Festival, February 15-24.

Other festival performances following close behind Classical Jazz Quartet, and projected to sell out before opening night are SFJAZZ Collective, and Cecil Taylor.

Second weekend performances that are selling briskly include Joshua Redman and Maceo Parker.
