LO STEELE

Lo Steele is a singer, songwriter, and award winning actor from Portland, Oregon. Daughter of Portland’s “First Lady of the Blues” LaRhonda Steele , Lo combines the traditions of Soul, Gospel and Blues with a modern R&B influence. She recently released her first full length-album “Happy Girl”, described in the Portland Mercury as a “cure-all for listeners aching to feel seen.”

Lo is grateful to be included in various musical spaces, and has had the privilege of performing at the Waterfront Blues Festival, The Cathedral Park Jazz Festival, Portland’s Folk Festival, and Oregon Country Fair. Lo’s most proud musical moments of the year include touring Brazil with the Igor Prado Band, opening for Tank and the Bangas at Revolution Hall, and performing with the Brownbranch big band tribute to Count Basie as a part of their annual show at Portland Center Stage. 

Also an accomplished actor, you make have seen Lo on  various theatre stages around town in productions like Hair and Tick… Tick… Boom! At Portland Center Stage, or What I Learned in Paris and A Christmas Carol at Portland Playhouse.
