Turning 30 in 2017, he’s one of the most remarkable and distinctive jazz-meets-rock pianists of his generation. Mostly Other People Do the Killing formed in 2003 shortly after bassist/composer/bandleader Moppa Elliott moved to New York City from Ohio.  The original quartet lineup of the band grew into a septet with the 2013 release of “Red Hot”, and the group has existed in several different configurations ever since.  2017 saw the release of both a second septet album “Loafer’s Hollow” as well as the first album by the piano trio version of the group, “Paint.”
